The greetings on zone by phone have been up there for more then a year and I think its time for new ones. There should be a voicemail dedicated for leaving new ones and someone approves them. I will be glad to pick the new intros to the zone by phone. Me
I agree about needing new ones. There is one made by someone who is dead now, and I don't know about anyone else, but that one makes me sad every time I hear it.

yeah, there's a lot of greetings recorded by people who are now banned. I didn't know about the person who is now dead, but that one should definitely be in the past. I mean, no offence, but that might bring back sad or painful memories for some people.
Well, the voicemail thing might not work too well, but new zbp greetings are fine for you, and not cared about by me who doesn't use zbp at all. Any Cls or Admins suggestions?

Well, I think the concern about still having greetings from users who have died is valid enough. As for the banned ones, it also makes sense to remove them, since they're no longer part of the community. So they just might listen.
I know the ZBP intro that's been mentioned, and although I realize it could be really painful for some to hear, I don't think it should be taken away. I think it was actually left there as a sort of tribute, in a way. I like hearing it; it reminds me of the person who made it and makes me smile.
Hmm, I was thinking of that too. Quite interesting. I'm not sure which intro this is but that's definitely another way of looking at it.
this is a valid point. i'm not going to say too much, as i'll probably say the wrong thing, it's a very tuchy topic for me.
all i will say, is i think that if it does stay, i think it's only fair that you get to choose not to listen to it. i know it probably won't be able to just exclude 1 greeting, but for some people they don't need the hurt that it starts in some people.
some people will have that for life you know, and while i think it's respectfull to leave the greeting up as a tribute, i think respect should also be payed to those of us that simply can't listen to it for what ever reason

if you're accessing zbp using a phone, there is a way to skip the greetings, just hit the hash key.
That isn't the point of this, and where is the hash key? Sorry, but my phone only has the normal keys.

while I hardly use zbp, I'll say that I think the greeting from the person who's dead should be kept. those that don't wanna hear it, can simply hit the pound key to bypass it.
Actually, I think any key will skip it. I still agree that new ones could exist, but I won't be heart broken if they're not.
Someone who knows the admins personally should call and ask them if they can update the greetings. They need a voicemail dedicated for new greetings.
Yeah well, I honestly don't think it matters. Who really sits there and listens to the greetings as they call, anyway?
